How it works

Planning a trip,
minus the noise.

Tell Pocket Travel Agent what you're thinking — a budget, a week off, a place you've been curious about — and it handles the research, the timing, and the booking handoff. No forms, no twelve open tabs, no email wall. Here's exactly how it works.

01
Tell it your trip
Start a conversation in plain English. Give it everything — origin, dates, budget, who's coming, the vibe — or almost nothing. “Somewhere warm under $1,500 in March” is enough to start.
02
Get honest advice
It tells you what a sharp friend would: realistic price ranges, when to book vs. wait, whether your points beat cash on this route, which neighborhoods are worth it — and when booking direct beats every site we'd send you to.
03
Book in one click
When you’re ready, it builds a card and deep-links you to your chosen partner with the search already filled in. You finish the booking on their site — we never touch your card or passport.

Day-by-day itineraries
Morning, afternoon, and evening plans with tactical tips on what to pre-book and what to skip.
Trip budgets
Realistic numbers across flights, stays, food, and activities — to whatever depth you want.

The handoff

You choose
where to book.

From the Booking sitesmenu you pick a preferred partner for each part of the trip — Booking.com, Vrbo, Kayak, and more — plus Google options that don't earn us anything. Every card deep-links to your pick with the search prefilled. You complete the booking on the partner's own site.

  • You pay the partner — never us
  • We never see your card or personal info
  • We earn a small commission from the partner, never from you
  • Always free, no account required to start

Common questions

Is it really free?

Yes — always free for travelers. No subscription, no paywall, and no account needed to start a conversation.

How do you make money, then?

Affiliate commissions. If you book through a partner link, that partner pays us a small commission. It never costs you more, and it never changes what the agent recommends — including when the cheapest option earns us nothing.

Do you handle my payment or personal info?

No. You book on the partner's own site, so we never see your card, passport, or booking details.

Do I need an account?

Not to chat and get advice. Sign in (free) to save trips across devices, get AI summaries and cover photos, group flights, hotels, and experiences into one trip, and mark them booked.

Can I trust the recommendations?

That's the whole point. The agent surfaces the genuine best value — and will tell you plainly when booking direct with the airline or hotel beats every partner we'd send you to.

What if I want to book somewhere you don't list?

In the Booking sites menu there's a “Prefer another site?” field. We can't prefill an un-integrated site, but the agent will point you there with the exact details to search.
